Saturday night Dinner on Mull - The best Curry the Island has to Offer.
OPT OUT NOT OPT IN!
Mull has some excellent Restaurants and Pubs to eat in but they are small and expensive on a Saturday night. So we have engaged the services of Jane Gordon-Chauvet to provide the best curry on the island for the evening of 15th April. For those who have experienced the Burnlaw Disc Golf Equinox Curry Night you will know what to expect - not just great food but a great social experience as well!
For Mull, Jane is offering a full curry menu for £12. This will be held at Tigh-Na-Cora - about a mile and a half from the course at Fanmore - and the home of Guy Luard, Jane and family.
In order to prepare for the meal PLEASE only contact us if you DO NOT WANT to have this experience or WANT TO ADD family and friends to the guest list. Assume that if you are playing you are on the Guest list. Bring your own drinks, music, juggling tricks and dance moves!.
All transport and Parking arrangements will be discussed at Registration and Players meeting.
Cost shown for the complete two-day event:
|Pro Divisions||MPO, FPO||£65|
|MPM, MPG, MPS||£65|
Please note: there is a £5 fee for payments made through PayPal. If you wish to avoid this then you can pay by bank transfer using the details at the end of this page.

Pay out and Prizes
This will be a PDGA B Tier event – BUT...
We will be paying out prize money as an A Tier event with a minimum $2000 addition to the Pro-pot. However, because Mull is so remote and we want to include non-PDGA members in the event we cannot guarantee meeting the full requirements of an A tier event.
Round scores will be reported to the PDGA Office to calculate player ratings for PDGA Members
Pay out for Pro players will be according to PDGA guidelines at 40%.
Amateur players will receive an enhanced player pack and prizes.
Food and Facilities
Tournament HQ - will be on Jonny’s Croft next to Fanmore
Lunch - will be available each day at Tournament HQ and will be Scottish Broth/Soup/Stew, sandwiches, cake and snacks - Vegetarian options of course!
Drinking water will be available at the Course as will Tea and Coffee, free all day.
Shelter – Marquees and Event Tents will be available.
Toilets - will be available at Tournament HQ.
Prepare for all weathers – but definitely walking boots!
The west coast of Mull has very little wi-fi capacity and limited phone signal – Enjoy the quiet! Vodaphone is the best signal so some roaming may be needed. Dervaig and north of the island has much better and faster connectivity.
For food in the evenings you could try the:
Am Berlin - a great fish restaurant on the Calgary-Dervaig road, pricy but worth it!
The Bellachroy in Dervaig – local pub with good quality local produce
Pubs and restaurants in Tobermory – Cafe Fish in the harbour is highly recommended
The Bunk House in Dervaig has self-catering facilities.
You are strongly advised to book all evening meals well in advance.

You will need transport on Mull. If you are coming from continental Europe then come with friends, fly to Glasgow or Edinburgh and hire a car together. Apart from an amazing road trip with spectacular views to get to Oban (then 45 minutes to Craignure, book ferry in advance) or Lochaline (then 20 minutes to Fishnish, no booking needed) you will then have total freedom to explore Mull once you get on island!
If you are travelling solo then get to Glasgow (Queen St) and take the train to Oban – one of the world’s greatest train rides – and then board the ferry at Oban to Craignure (45 minutes). You can take a bus to Fanmore or to Tobermory – but probably quicker to just hitch a lift from a local or we will put you in touch with others doing the same!! If you do this make sure you get a B&B in Dervaig or on the west coast near Fanmore or Ulva then we can help you with transport on playing days.
BOOK NOW – Don’t WAIT! …and book your ferry whilst you’re at it.
- Camping on the course at Fanmore with toilets, water supply and electricity, tea, coffee, cakes and the best views ever! £5 per person per night.
